Hi Shaker,
yes, I have mounted the Inon Uwl-H100 one the 10Bar housing, it fit correctly and in water you don't need to zoom in.
Tomorrow i will post the picture i made with the 10Bar housing with the Inon Uwl lens (i have it on another PC).
It is visible only a very very slight vignetting only in the two upper corner of the picture.

Hi
Thanks again!
It seems that we have finally a good wet WA converter for the lx5.
The Reefphoto test doesn't show any vignetting, i believe your camera lens isn't centered exactly with the housings port. It's easy to correct this with the 10Bar housing.
I would like to use the converter inside the 10bar dome port as a dry solution too, do you believe it will work? Can you test it in a room?
Thanks.

Image stabilization will shift the lens elements enough to cause slight vignetting that is inconsistent in position. Our test shots were from a tripod, and even then I see an extremely small amount in the lower left corner that is not apparent in the smaller sized image posted in our review.

@Ryan, thank you for the link of ReefPhoto, It is very usefull !!

@Shaker, Yes, I made even some pictures with the 10Bar housing + Inon Uwl-H100 out of the water, and there is a very strong vignetting obviously at the wide position (24mm).
You have to zoom in 1/4 to avoid vigentting.
The quality is fantastic and the angle of view increase at 160°.

Thanks Scipionems,
160° is enough wide! I get only 100° (18mm) with the panasonic dry converter inside the dome port.
I wonder if we get the same vignetting when the Inon dome unit is mounted on the converter!
If a replace the flat port with the 10Bar dome port, the WA converter will be closer to the camera lens and will give less vignetting.

Hi Shaker,
i Went on the Inon Internet syte, exactly here INON NEWS: UWL-H100 28M67 Type1/Type2 Wide Conversion Lens
and I noticed this about the Inon UWL-H10028M67 : " Maximum view angle is『100.8°』underwater /『179.0°』air (*1). Optional super wide option「Dome Lens Unit II for UWL-H100」further widen its view angle up to『144.8°』"
But really I don't understand how you can mount on the INON UWL-H10028M67 the optional "DOME LENS UNIT II" (this one http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8PekW732B...ak/s1600/DomeLensUnitIIforUWL-H100%5B1%5D.jpg )

Thank you for this very useful information Ryan.
I purchased the Inon uwl-H10028M67 and for the moment I will try to use this lens (hoping to make some decent picture).

After I thought that I'd finally decided to go for the Olympus xz-1 with the pt-050 housing, reading this thread has changed my mind. However, I have a couple of questions for Ryan:

Were the pictures taken in the Reefphoto compact camera guide with the Olympus XZ-1 and the Panasonic LX-5 taken at the same distance? Using the same Inon UWL-H100 28M67 lens, the LX-5 appears to give a much wider field of view compared with the xz-1 (about 8 small squares visible either side of the Reefphoto logo as opposed to 5). I know the panasonic has a wider lens, but I thought this would just cause greater vignetting and so offset any advantage when using this lens (I assumed the 28 in the name meant that it was designed for 28mm lenses).

Also, has anyone tried the Inon UWL-H100 28LD bayonet mount lenses with these cameras using the Nauticam housings (according to the Nauticam website, an adapter is available). I would guess that using an adapter would make the lens sit slightly further away from the port and increase vignetting, but if I'm wrong, I would definitely have to buy the LX-5 and Nauticam housing.

Any further info would be much appreciated!
