RF battery drain, like BT battery drain, is not an unheard of issue. I noticed the same thing with my Icon. While not a fix, a simple workaround is to get an external USB battery pack. I have one for my iPad/iPhone called a New Trent IMP1000. It's about the size of a deck of cards. Tried it on the Icon and works well. So, I'll simply use it between dives.

Recharging now. Down to 64% today. Still following the 5% per day discharge rate. Heading to the quarry with my buddy to give the Net Ready the acid test. I will let you know how it performs.

Back from my quarry dive. We did 2 dives (about 40 min each). The Icon HD Net Ready work flawlessly. Great to have the tank pressure on the dive watch. The changing of the colors around the tank pressure was especially cool and helpful. Checked the battery life prior to the dives and it was 97%, The battery life after two dives and surface intervals was 80%. Not too bad in my opinion. Although, I think this is a faster drain than my old Icon. With increased use and charges maybe this will improve. All in all, I still believe this is one of the best DC on the market. Please share your experiences as you test out yours.

Has anyone else started their upgrade process?
I sent mine in through my Mares dealer. At the time of sending it in, Mares had quoted a 5 day turn around. That was about 2.5 weeks ago. The local dealer just called, and now Mares is telling them it will take 2 more weeks.
My dive trip is in 11 days. :shakehead: I knew I was taking a risk by sending away my computer a month before my trip. I'm still hoping for a miracle! :D
If anyone else has any timeline stories of getting their upgrade, or any way to contact Mares, it would be appreciated!

Mine took about 2.5 weeks and I just got it in last Friday (9-17-2011) they sent it to my LDS and picked it up that day and of course went diving that night after I had a full charge.

Any problems with connecting to the Dive Organizer?

Any problems with connecting to the Dive Organizer?

Not with the new one, on my old one yes....lots of issues would have to flip a coin if it was going to work.

Okay so I am totally lost. I paired my Icon Hd to the transmitter, the computer showed G1 paired, but I do not get any tank pressure or anything. Been through it a lot of times. I am here in Cabo diving and if it were not form my OCEANIC THAT WORKS....I would not be diving. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did You Hooked up your first stage with transmitter to tank?. If yes and still not getting any info from from transmitter its the same problem which I had with mine.Battery inside of transmitter is almost dead and you have to replace it(mine died after one dive). You can buy them in almost any store like Ride Aid or wallgreens Battery model is CR 123A or another symbol for the same battery its just 123
