Where to go for quiet, no night life, experienced divers and Nitrox?

We are planning our 20th anniversary and are looking for a nice, quiet, small no frills spot for diving. We were certified in the 1980s and have over 1000+ dives. We loved Saba but cant swing the air costs right now so are looking for that feel but not as hard to get to.

Two suggestions if you have not been there. Little Cayman. Stay at Paradise Villa. Dive with Conch Club Divers. Check out their websites and trip advisor reviews. Second Bonaire. Stay at Coral Paradise. Dive with Capt Dons or Buddys. Again check websites and trip advisor reviews. Let me know if you want more details. If you have 1000 plus dives and have not been to either island you need to go to both.

I can only add, go where it costs more. Like BVI. I'll be on Grand Cayman first week of March.

Being East Coast Canada, I like the shorter trips to the Caribbean islands, only a 1-hour offset.

I wonder how "quiet" Key West / Key Largo FL is?

All of the above but I do suggest you take comments on sites such as Trip Advisor with a large chuck of salt....pissed, often unreasonable, excitable people post on such sites. Happy, easy going people rarely do. I once saw a post on a well known resort that put it in a very bad light....trouble is I was there the exact same time and did not see any of the problems.

Your headline says it all. That's why I keep returning to Little Cayman. There is nothing to do but diving and that which you create. A walk. A book. A game. Conversation.

Honestly, all of the resorts are good, just depends on exactly what mix you are looking for. I haven't stayed at Paradise Villas, but I have met the managers there and they are quite lovely.

Lots of good reviews that I would support for LCBR. I'm trying Pirates' point this trip as I was looking for something tiny and some non diving down time.

Cayman Airways is having a sale right now, so do check that.

Some positives seem to be "bought" positives, one-liners. There are some legit reviews though. I do *lots* of legit reviews, to get my "score" up.

Little Caman or Cayman Brac or east side Grand Cayman or Turks and Caicos (Provo) would be your best bet

I would recommend either:

West end of Curacao, Lodge Kura Hulanda or some other property and diving with Go West Diving

Or Little Cayman, maybe stay at The Club and dive with either Conch Club or Reef Divers

In my experience, both of those meet your criteria.

I was in Maui last october, was hot - upper 80's f all the time.

Many secluded, hard-to-find beaches you can shore dive from.

May/June I don't know, but it's big, lots of fancy restaurants and things to visit, romantic vistas galore.
