Hi everyone!

Who would like to join us in Brockville for the July long weekend diving on Sat June 30th, Sun July 1st and Mon July 2nd?

If we can fill our boat, the cost for 2 dives on the Cdn side will be $68 and on the U.S. side will be $75. This is an avg of $19 less than the walk-on price each day!

You will need to have an Advanced O/W certification and documentation to enter the U.S. (or Canada if you're from the U.S.).

We'll be doing amazing wrecks in the pretty warm water of the St Lawrence River, so it should be an awesome time as always! :)

If you'd like to join us, please post here or PM or email me. Thanks! :)

Ayisha...any idea as to the wrecks you intend to dive over those three days and when? I am diving the Keystorm and the America this upcoming weekend with a group from Ottawa

why AOW?

T4E...Mainly strong current and depth (Vickery 60 - 100ft, Keystorm 20 -115ft, America 78ft under the Seaway, Kinghorn 90ft, Muscallonge 94 ft, Dariaw 94ft, Gaskins 70ft, Lillies Parsons 42 - 83 ft strong current and drift dive to exit) just to name a few. In fact depending on which one you do as a combo, Nitrox becomes highly advisable.

thanks for the info RTee

Hi there, we have the boat to ourselves so we can go anywhere we would like, weather and conditions depending. The Keystorm is a favourite, and we will probably also do the Vickery, Kinghorn, Daryaw, Lillie, and America. We may do a night shore dive on the Rothesay on the Sunday night as well. Let me know if you have some preferences and we'll try to accommodate them.

Good answer for why AOW is required for most of the above wrecks. The Rothesay is certainly fine for O/W, but the others mentioned above are AOW due to depth and current. In the case of the America, it's a virtual overhead due to boat traffic, so we have to ensure we ascend only on the line. There's still time to complete AOW and get some dives in before that, though! :)

Let me know if you're interested...

Night dive on the Rothesay...this would be the ideal time for a commemorative dive. We barely see anything during the day, imagine nighttime...lol. Ayisha, I will discuss with GF and then let you know. How many spots have you got opened???

Hi there. We have 13 confirmed with quite a few more very interested for a total of 20 spots. So there are 7 spots available right now...

Any more takers? Should be a fun weekend! :)

Additional hazard on the America: Bunker C oil along the bottom. Don't come in contact with it. It's impossible to remove from your gear.

Who's the charter boat operator, Ayisha?
