I got back from my Mexico dive vacation and I had some time to edit and upload "highlights". Enjoy!
All of this was shot with a Hero2 + dive housing + SRP Dome Filter (except cenotes)
I shot footage in 1080px30 fps. In retrospect, I should have shot it in 720px60 fps to smooth it out.

Well done and don't worry about 60p as starting point is good you will improve with time
On some of the shallow parts there is an obvious orange tinge, maybe you could have tried without the filter or tried a little correction in post to cool the image down a little
Other than that good start

Excellent..heading to both PDC and Coz in a few weeks! Can't wait!

Drewpy,
If you don't have anything booked I would like to suggest Reef Quest Divers, they are based out of the Blue Parrot Suites directly on the beach in Playa.
Steve(from England) is the owner and is an amazing guy and hell of a diver.

Another note: I shot all of these with a small hand grip mount that was attached to my BCD via a GearKeeper retractable lanyard. That way I could drop the camera if I needed to use my hands. Over time I think I will get better with stability. Video is still shaky, but better than when I held onto the housing with my hands without a grip.

What editing software do you use?

I just used the Windows Movie Maker on my Windows 7 PC. It doesn't have all the awesome features of iMovie (so jealous!) but I don't have a Mac.

Very true, it is hard to judge without the LCD backpack. Next time I will try to think about this.

I love the cenotes, my favorite dives ever!
Which company did you go with?
Which software did you use?
The cenote dives were REALLY awesome. The gopro does not pick up all the light that we saw in person so the video is a LOT darker than it really was.

I dove with Diversity Diving. They were the one company that offered to pick us up from our resort free of charge and drop us off after!

I used Windows Movie Maker for all of these.

If you couldn't tell already, I have a soft spot for the smooth trunkfish (I am a fish geek):

I try to follow them every time I see them during a dive!

Krukster, really enjoyed the videos! Makes me want to check out some cave diving. I got a Go Pro for Christmas and can't wait to use it. I hope my work turns out 1/2 as good as yours. Liked the music in PDC Day 1 too.

Thanks dbatts! I try to do a better job each dive trip. I am definitely learning the limitations of the gopro as I dive with it. That said, I am also learning what I can do to make the videos more appealing!
