Wife and I completed our OW Certification dives this past weekend. Although not ideal conditions, cold (water temp 64 degrees) and next to zero viability, we made it. Still had a blast aside from losing one of my integrated weight pockets on the very first dive of the first day.

Congratulations! Now go forth and dive . . . when's your next one?

Congratulations...

My best advice... GO DIVE!!!

Congrats!! My wife just received her SSI Open Water Certification this past weekend also! Welcome to the addiction.

Congratulations! Where did you do your OW dives? 64 sounds nice compared to where I was this weekend :)

Welcome to your newest addiction. Now get out and dive!

Congratulations, Kerry!!!!! Hope you have many great years of diving!!!

congrats and good work to both of you...enjoy the depths.

Where did you do your OW dives?

We did our OW dives at a sand pit near Shelton, Ne - War Axe. If you sat still long enough and then stirred up a little silt the crappy (usually 3" to 6") would get curious and start swimming right up to your mask.

. . . when's your next one?
We had already booked our Cozumel trip, slated for Nov 7-14. Also hoping to hit Curacao with our local dive shop in Feb 2014.
