Did you know you can do rapelling and rock climbing in Bonaire?

Brandaris Hill is the highest spot on the island (780 something feet I think), so I don't know how enjoyable that would be for you (especially if you have to say no to diving!) It has a walking path to the top that gives a pretty good view of the island.

Thanks for the info.
We have a few non diving spouses and friends with the Invasion who might enjoy that. :D

After climbing Mt Scenery on Saba, I think I might pass on another "hill" with a path!

Got my certificate for climbing Mt Scenery. Even took pictures to prove I made it! Think it was 1,275 ft!

You could try rappeling down at Rappel - (the dive site). Just wear your gear as the last drop puts you in the water. Bruce Bowker did 30 years ago: Bruce Bowker's Carib Inn, Bonaire, Rappel

It's also:
The most often asked for dive site, Rappel is reached only by boat. Due to the close proximity to the rocky ledge, an intermediate skill level is required. With a depth of 30-100 feet and moderate currents, Rappel has huge sea fans in the shallows and an abundance of nudibranches.
Toucan Divers goes there. Really good dive if the conditions are right.

Thanks for the driving info:). Sure glad I rented a truck!

You might want to visit some of Bonaire's galleries and works of art.
The galleries feature work of local and Caribbean artists. Visit Jan Art at her gallery, or make an appointment to visit with Bonaire resident artist Linda Richter of Bonaire Creations.

Another wonderful fine artist and muralist Henk Roozendaal works can be seen all over the island.
