I'll be in Cozumel 2nd week in November and was wondering if the Bull Sharks show up that early in the season in Playa. If so, do you have any recommendations for a dive op? I'm a videographer and I want to film. Thanks!

Hi Soundfield, we'll be there from 11/9 to 11/16 and are looking to Bull Shark dive as well. Let me know if you find a good spot or want to group up for a price break. I also do amateur GoPro videography. Have fun!

Hi Justin,
I hope you and Julie had fun! Seeing those 10-12 bull sharks was pretty awesome time eh? Thank you so much for diving with us!

Jason, we had an amazing time. It was a dive of a lifetime!

To all considering bull shark diving, Jason at Fantasea in PDC is highly recommended. We looked into 6 dive shops and were so happy that we went with Jason. It's a must do dive and easy day trip if you are in Cozumel. Even easier if you stay in PDC.

Here's how the Bull shark dive turned out. I will be using some of this footage for a shark conservation video later this year. This video is for "entertainment" purposes only and is not meant for education or promotion. Special thanks to Eli Martinez (editor of Shark Diver Magazine) for his permission to use his interview footage. It's pretty impressive.. enjoy!

We're seeing 5-6 bull sharks on shallow dives at Jardines Reef. No chumming or feeding, just a regular dive and you can see them. Also they've been spotted on deep and shallow dives north of Jardines - Moc-che Deep & Chun-Zumbul, for example. It is truly an awe-inspiring experience to see them!
