Guys, thank you very much for all your comment. You guys seem to have read my mind :D
Indeed I am planning to change the standard hose into long hose some time in the future (this is for my GF), but unless mentioned here most likely I will not realize that the regs have different port size. Awesome guys.
Buddhasummer, thank you for your link. I just finished ordering the 1/2" male - 3/8" adaptor (is it correct?) - along with some other stuffs I think "in the future i will need" lol - DGE should give you some credits for recommending them :D

Yes, 1/2 male to 3/8 is correct. I had bit of a run in with them a some years ago when I was less evolved not sure if they've ever forgiven me lol...regardless they are still my go to online store. Good luck with everything.

I am amazed they ship to Indonesia and Japan. They are only about 40 miles away from Miami.

Diving gear here, if even available, is more often the not stupid expensive. DGX will ship USPS so providing I order a few items at the same time or convince my diving buddies that they need something from DGX the shipping is quite reasonable usually around $35-42. It's a pain when I only want a hose so usually justify more gear to save on shipping lol...A lot of offshore online stores will only send by UPs, Fed Ex, DHL etc and this often makes purchasing cost prohibitive. Thank goodness for DGX And their reasonable shipping, if order is over $500 it's free might have to buy a Petrel just to save $30 in shipping lol.

I LOL'ed at this one. Same problem here...

I almost always use USPS priority for international shipping. It is very reasonable price with reasonable delivery time.
The delivery to Indonesia usually between 2-3 weeks.
BTW I moved to Oman last year (forget to change my location, lol), and shipping with USPS is still my first choice.
Haven't had any problem with delivery until now.

Hi ams,

Now the I have the regulator in my hand, has completely replaced original hose with long hose and in few days i might dive with it for the first time.
First impression, I like that the design is turretless, unlike my XTX20, for me it's easier to neatly tuck the hose inside the regulator bag.
Regarding the first stage port, you are correct that the first stage has 1/2" port for the TX100 second stage. Unfortunately, the 1/2" port sits in front of the 3/8" port, due to my preference in hose routing (for single config) I put the primary TX100 2nd stage in 3/8" port, and TX40 2nd stage in the 1/2" port (with adapter installed). Is there will be any drop of performance of the TX100 since I put it not in the original 1/2" port?

You will not notice any difference.
