I'm a Fish!
I recently got back from diving off key Largo just before Christmas. I shot this video using my Gopro 3 silver & used the Polar Pro red filter /macro lens combo. The filter/macro lens seemed to work great as I was able to swing the macro lens on/off for different shots. I also shot the video in the protune mode and edited the video on Ciniform Studio 2.

enjoy

Nice Vid matey. I just bought a gopro and cant wait to try it out down in the keys!
Who did you dive with?

Thanks for the compliments........ I dove with Rainbow Reef Diving Center because their boats were just a short walk from the Courtyard Marriott where I was staying. They were great and let me hang behind the group shooting my videos. I would have no problem diving with them again.

I dove with them last time I was there. Actually considering doing my IDC with them!
Did you have any problems using the ciniform studio 2?when I upload my footage it is really hard to edit because the playback is really slow and jumpy. I just bought a new laptop and am wondering if it doesn't have enough power...

Nice. You have a special regulator there, or is it a semi-closed rebreather ?

I did have some similar problems w/ Ciniform studio 2 on occasion at first and my desk top froze up once. I found if I slowed up while editing and constantly saved the file, that CS2 seemed to work ok for me. It is possible that your laptop might not have enough power.

I am a vintage gear enthusiast and was using a refurbished US Divers DA Aquamaster double hose reg that I changed into a modern Phoenix reg from an adapter from Vintage Scuba - Vintage Scuba Gear at Vintage Double Hose in Florida. I love diving double hose regs as it seems I can get closer to marine life due to the bubbles exhaust behind you.

Nice to see Molasses reef. My 1st experience seeing a reef was there. The strange part I remember of that experience was the 400 foot freighter jammed right through the center of the reef.

I think the mask I used back then was just like your vintage one too. :)

Very nice video. The color looks so natural.
Did you do any white balance, or did the filter do that well? How deep where most of the shots? What type of tray or mount did you use?
