After 15 months of planning we arrived in Cozumel last night with 8 suitcases, 2 large backpacks and 2 dogs. (My sister came for a week to help. She couldn't pass up a free trip.)

I want to thank all the SB'ers who helped me with this long journey. Today we are just unpacking and relaxing and getting use to the rental house. Tomorrow we meet with our lawyer to start the immigration process for our PR card.

Don't plan on diving right away but will be looking at some of the OPs who offer discounts to locals now that we are retired. LOL

Will drop by to see what is happening and hope to meet a bunch of you at the next gathering or two.

P.S. Marg I guess it is time to change my username to BettyfromToronto

Thats great, I imagine your going to be looking for a house to buy, or do you just plan on renting for awhile??? Check with Tres Pelicanos, as I think they offer a discount to local regulars if you let them know. I'm sure many other operations do the same, especially if they don't have a full boat, and want to fill a seat.

Congrats Betty !! Looking forward to meeting you when I am at Scuba Club in March :D
