YS-D1 w/ikelite housing...does the sync cord work on the ike bulkhead?

housing my 100D and got a great deal from ike for my housing...I would like to use S&S, if possible...there are still some mail issues with ike sending strobes (w/battery backs) to FPO/APO ...thanks all.

I think this will work in manual mode only but Ike says it works on the new cameras but no TTL.

Yes, manual only. We have seen some issues with the Ike S&S connectors not working, but they have revised them.

do I have to get a cord from ike or will the S&S cord work? i only shoot manual on camera and strobe anyway....thank you for your help...

Yup, that's the one.

You could maybe order the Ike DS-160 strobe with an Nimh battery. I think you can order the pieces separately. The thing is you'd have TTL that way...

I was gonna go that route then I started hearing horror stories about our PO turning back packages with battery packs in them...
