Thanks! I am headed there next week! Super excited! :)
I am planning a 2tank dive for my husband and I .
Originally I was thinking Triangle.... but someone mentioned that the ferrys were not running as often and early and we may not be able to get there from the dockyard in time....
Then I was thinking BWD because they are closer to the dockyard... but I saw on here that some said BWD had horrible reviews. Is this the case?

Does anyone know where I can find reviews on the 3 dive places in Bermuda? I would love to check them out.

Thanksssssss

BWD is perfectly fine - I've dived with them many times. Negatives are that they limit your times and are a bit too touristy. You won't get better at Triangle. Same thing just on the East side. Don't bother. Wrecks are also closer to BWD. Bring your own drinks and snacks. There is a small concession at the gas station alongside BWD but it is very expensive. There are far more than three options but from Dockyard, you are pretty much stuck with BWD.

I am looking for a place thats has inexpensive hotels and close a dive shop. Just posted a thread before i saw this.

...then you're obviously not looking to go to Bermuda.

BDA is not exactly known for its inexpensive hotels. (Or anything else inexpensive for that matter)! Anything close to a dive shop is usually an expensive hotel.

If you want affordable and great value look at Cozumel, Belize or Bonaire.

Bermuda is not known for inexpensive anything, especially hotels. House and room rentals, however, are very reasonable. Google Bermuda Rentals and two good sites should come up. A fews years back we rented part of a house, two bedrooms, full kitchen, AC on the water with dock for far less than what we would have paid for a simple hotel room.

I am going on a cruise in June to King's Wharf, typical 3 day stay. I am reading with much distress that the ocean around your beautiful island is a crap shoot for contamination. according to the Daily Gazette, and the U. S. CDC, no beach is safe from this contamination without Hepatitis A and Typhoid immunizations. Should I be CONCERNED about diving?

there was some news in the past couple of months of sewage issues with some of the beaches along south shore, these issues only happened with very specific weather conditions. To be honest there is nothing to be concerned about, however the local population has been on the government heavy to ensure these issues are resolved. No idea when they will be resolved but their occurrence is so rare (maybe 5 days a year, usually in feb/march) that you really have nothing to be concerned about.

I am in those waters every week and I have never had any issues.

We will be in Bermuda 3 days on a cruise ship in early July. We'd like to do an afternoon dive the first day and morning dive the following 2 days. Would you recommend Dive Bermuda at the Fairmont? Or Blue Water? Are you able to use the facilities at the Fairmont before/after diving? Thank you!
