How deep do you dive as max. solo? and the max. decotime?

I dont do deco and I preferr to stay shallower than 20 meters when solo, mainly because where I dive solo you dont see Jack Scheet anyways, but I'll og solo to 30 meter under the right conditions.
To turn it the other way around, when I travel and I get assigned a buddy (I often travel alone), I ask myself if I would do the dive as a solo dive. If I wouldn't, why do I trust someone I've just met and have no experience with how he/she behave to be my backup plan?
If I'm not prepared to do the dive as a solo dive, Im not prepared to do the dive, cause if the **** hits the fan, you might be forced to...

Depends on the conditions and dive plan; on a good day with a DPV and plenty of bailout, I've been happy to explore around 300' while the other two divers in our group stayed around 240' and left for the drive to the wreck we were doing our deco on 10 minutes before I did.

Basically, I ask myself whether, if things go absolutely to :censored:, do I need to have someone else around to complete my dive? Team bailout is one obvious instance where the answer is yes, and a CCR dive without a DPV, or with significant planned work, or where blue water ascent in the event of DPV failure isn't an option, are probably others. I'm much more leery of solo diving a rebreather than OC because of the greater chance of becoming incapacitated.

Assuming you are equipped and trained enough to dive solo, I do not see the difference in depth? If something seriously wrong happens it is the same at 100ft as it is at 3ft... So i am not sure if the depth adds any additional risk to a dive you would do normally do with a buddy. You will just not have company at your safety/deco stops...

My two cents

My deepest solo dive was to 193 feet ... with a total ascent time of about 45 minutes.

Narcotic impairment and rate of gas depletion come to mind as risks that grow in direct proprotion to depth.

As well as cold and dark having potential effect on those two and in many places (like here) being very influenced by depth

As to my previous comment about not seeing Jack btw...
This is in the middle of a sunny day in one of the (very large) local lakes.

Who needs the sun to go down to do night dives?
