If Wayne had any beef with Jim, then it would have been Wayne that brought this up again after seven years. In fact, Wayne has never post anything pertaining to the case on this site or other diving sites.

Your arguments are just sounding stupid and baseless now. When does Wayne ever post on any site? And why would posting here determine whether or not he has beef with Jim. It is very obvious to anyone that's spent some time with Wayne and heard his comments that there's some friction between these two. You can keep denying it as much as you want, but it exists. I am again not saying that Wayne is spreading bs about Jim or lying about any of the facts. I'm not saying Jim is either. All I'm saying is you need to look at both sides of any story, especially when there's some love loss between the two parties. I'll shut up from this point on about Wayne because I very much like him and am not trying to throw any negatives his way. Everything I've stated is very well known, and he won't deny it, he just may not elaborate. His very close personal friends who are my dive buddies will concur as well. It doesn't matter to me that you obviously sit on one side of the fence on this issue. All I'm saying is be open-minded to both sides of the discussion and think about the emotions/opinions of those involved when weighing out arguments. Believing one side of a story without knowing all of the facts is doing a "trust me" dive in decision/opinion making. It's very obvious from your incorrect facts that you are going on alot of heresay here, and I think what Jim is trying to do is clear some of the misinformation from the air.

There's been a crap load of hearsay about this and many, many other incidents. The Cave Community seems to subsist on them, but to what end? These innuendos and hearsay result in paranoia and needless hurt feelings. It's simply not healthy.

She had an ear infection of some sort and on medication. What's to dance about? She was sick.

Your prior post references a "medical emergency"??? I'm just not seeing the picture some are painting... third wheel - tag along buddies generate reduced responsibility from instructors and seemingly that diving with the sniffles and taking some meds for a shallow dive is bordering suicidal. How terribly sick could she have been if neither of the two instructors she talked with immediately before the dive reported her to appear to be "under the weather"?

How man times have many of us dived on sudafed, ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin, antacids, antibiotic ear drops.. hell I remember watching George Irvin taking some pills from a clear plastic bag before a 300 ft dive.

It could only have been ibuprofen.....George sometimes used it to prevent inflammatory response when he was planning on a short deco.

OT... you sued over two bicycles colliding?
I sued for a guy who was racing his bike in a bike path slow zone, turning a blind corner in the wrong lane, and running into someone who was in contrast following the rules of the road. Believe me, if it was just two bikes colliding, the policeman would not have written the report he did, and there would not have been any settlement.

It would be easier if you took off the blinders of preconceived notions and opened your eyes a bit.

It appears that she was sick enough to die unexpectedly. Drugs and good acting skills can disguise any number of maladies to the point that even a physician could be fooled if they wanted to do that. Denial can convince a person that an ear infection is nothing but a case of sniffles.

I can't say I've ever dove when on prescription drugs. I don't think it's wise to do so and especially so without a Doctor's OK. I do use Zyrtec during allergy season, but that's way beyond diving with an ear infection, middle or inner.

Like she was a newly certified cave diver, had no computer, watch, table or bottom timer, ear problem, left to clear the exit on her own? All facts. My eyes are wide open to both sides and I do not listen to hearsay. Just the facts.

We know there was no computer, but I don't see any testimony that indicates she didn't have the other stuff. I guess you can always rely on hearsay or make sh1t up to create needless drama, but I personally don't see the need for it.

I've always noticed hearsay is indirectly proportional to the facts shared by those involved.

Ever heard a rumor about Jim Miller's death? Exactly.
