It looks like it'll get pretty bad as it heads up the coast with harsh impacts along the way, then weaken as it closes on Baja. Let's hope that locals all the way prepare well for flooding and evacuate as possible, as well as wind damage...

She has quickly built to Cat-4, expected to be Cat-5 this evening, but then hoping to see the power drop as she moves over cooler waters. Different computer models chart different path expectations, but it won't be good for the peninsula regardless...

Cat-4 with 130 mph winds and the outer bands are hitting the peninsula, but they are hoping it lands on the west side as a Cat-1 tomorrow. I do hope they are well prepared for the floods and winds.
