Hello, I am a latecomer to this subject, but am facing the same kind of issue. I have a problem with the zipper on my Mares semi-dry (not under warranty) and cannot find any support in my region and cannot find any contact for Mares at all. I am trying to find out how I can repair or replace the part of the zipper and what kind of material it is made from so I can determine how to repair it. Please can you help me find a contact for support? Many thanks! Nix

Hi Nigel,

I sent you a PM about your issue. Let me assure you when you contact the UK office or US office this is the Mares Company. Mares (as a part of the HEAD Group) has many offices around the world. Both the UK and US as well as most countries are subsidiaries of the worldwide company. In the US it is HEAD USA. In some countries where we do not have a subsid we have a dsitributor.
All units have "factory" service centers with Factory Trained Techinicians. In certian products or issues (such as a computer) it may need to go back to the factory in Italy for testing by one of the engineers, which was the case with your computer.

Hope this explains it better and gains your trust.

Regards,

Phil

Alessandro is a thief.

He couldnt care less about his customers, as long as it is not Walmart another big company. I also live in Mexico, and I know Alessandro personally. Any kind of after sales service is alien to him.

Mares should replace their sales agent in Mexico. He is giving Mares a really bad name.

We also have a shop in Mexico, and we avoid Mares as much as possible

Hi Old Timer,
I am unsure of the difficulty in reaching us. If you look at the mares.com website, under sales network / distributors you will find the U.S. Distributor and all of our contact information. We are open 9am EST - 6pm PST in the summer. Customer service will be happy to take your call. Also, anyone of the Mares authorized dealers should be able to help you as well. You can also PM me what is going on and I'm happy to try and help. Please let me know how we can be of service.

all the best,
Zak

Anyone know the going rate for a annual service on a Mares proton regulator the quote I got from a Mares AUTHORIZED dealer was 175.00 seems like it would be better to buy a new regulator every other year. This quote can't be right just had my Poseidon Jetstream serviced complete 75.00 Any input a Mares Regulators and service would be appreciated

I have been trying to contact you for over a week now. Your website is stuck in a loop without resolving anything for me. I am looking for a Mares authorized service location near San Francisco, California. How hard can that be right? Well... on your site it is impossible right now. Won't work on Chrome or Explorer - it's hourglass land and no information whatsoever.

I purchased a Mares Icon HD Net Ready dive computer with the air tank module and after less than six months and less than 30 dives the battery is completely dead and simply will not charge. That's absurd - it's a barely used piece of equipment. And now I have no way of finding out what to do about this. I am stuck with no customer service whatsoever.

What I am supposed to do here?????? Can someone PLEASE give me some useful recommendation????

Some options from the site:

The ones with the Mares Lab icon under the name are the authorized service centers.
I don't live in SFO and even I've heard good things about Bamboo Reef.

Hi,

I have a Mares Puck Pro which I bought 4 months ago and done about 250 dives with it. On one deep dive the depth indicator started blinking and peeping as soon as I got below 22meters. I quessed that I've accidentaly turned on a deep alarm on it and didn't worry about it and continued the dive. So after the dive I went in to settings and turned off the deep alarm. The next day I did another deep dive and it started blinking again deeper then 22m (but not peeping since I turned it off) and then I compared it next to my students dive computer and saw that I had alot more deco time then they did (I had about 20 more minutes then they did at the depth we're at and I know from other deep dives that the Mares computers are quite conservative). So my first deep dive was way to long since and I might have suffered from DCS, still looking out for symptoms.
So my question is (since I can't find any contact info on the Mares website) how can you help me out with this? (Asked to any Mares worker who might be here)
Thank you very much in advance!
