Mr. Ratliff ,these are Russian rebreathers but I donn't know what mixture they were using. I asked them, I will write you when I received the answer.

Wow. Where is this wonderful room? It's a paradise!

Here is a long list of Soviet rebreathers (in Russian): Обзор Советских Ребризеров.

And here is a mediocre Google translation in English, a tolerable one en Français, and one of unknown quality bu Türkçe.

Machine translation has quirks, and gaps in its knowledge. For example, bezdekompressyonny (бездекомпрессйонны&#1081:wink: was not translated, but is strictly read as an adjective meaning "without decompression".

To a US Navy diver, it means "no D".

For ScubaBoard users, perhaps "inside NDL" or "within no-decompression limits".

Deep sea diver jargon in Russian can be puzzling for humans, too. I have never read a Russian dive helmet catalog, but I wonder if this is a marketing phrase: "{thorough | broad} {ventilation | flushing} of diving helmet interior space" (вентиляцию подшлемного пространств&#1072:wink:.

I welcome assistance in this much-neglected area of my education. :)

Now I am sure. I want an СВУ-5 for Christmas.

See modern commercial dive training in Moscow that starts with the older "three bolt (трёхболтовка)" helmets here.
