Looking for AI advice

OK, I'm planning another trip to Cozumel for 2016 in April. This time, it's 3 couples. 2 of the wives don't dive. We'll be staying at El Cantil for 7 nights, but then want to move to an AI for 3 nights.
I'm looking at: Iberostar, Occidental Grand or the Fiesta Americana. Any advice on value, food or beach?

No real beach at Fiesta Americana. Ironshore along the shore at Iberostar. The Grand may have the nicest or second nicest beach in that area.

Best beach at an AI that we've found is down south, at the Sabor.

Thanks, we stayed at Secrets Aura last year. We were disappointed. The Sabor seems to be a step down from that. Any other suggestions?

At the Cantil you are right next door to the Palace.

That looks very interesting. Have you used this before? How does it work?

No real beach at El Cantil or Cozumel Palace either. There are walking distance to shops and places to eat and can taxi to where you do your beach surface interval.

I just contacted the seller and asked for available dates. He responded as to what was available. We are having an extended stay due to lots of friends, so the cost for 16 nites-17 days is 3866 for 2. One week was $1632. WE usually stay at Park Royal, but this was about $300 more.

The Iberostar is closed for a remodel this entire month it should be nice when they are done.
