Hello Pajjpen,
Thanks for initiate such topic about the Cozumel. Next year my friend's are planning for a Mexico trip in which Cozumel also included. But we are doubt how many days we should spend there. Any suggestions. So that we can book the private vehicle from transport company as "Dtourscancun". Thanks in advance for suggestions.

I'm going to spend about 5-6 days there prior to my Socorro trip, and if I enjoy it I might go back there afterwards aswell. Until I get back home I couldn't really tell you how much time you should spend.
Im going to take the local bus from cancun airport to PDC.

Oh okey, do you know if any other dive op on Cozumel has a better house reef?

No 'house reefs' in Cozumel. The reefs are for all practical purposes only accessible by boat diving. There are very limited opportunities to get out far enough to access reefs close to the shore line, requiring long swims and somewhat dubious results with calculating and dealing with where the current is going to take you. There are some who will rave about their shore dives close into the shore out of the current and outside scuba club and hotel cozumel and such, watch their videos and get an idea whether that type of dive would appeal to you.

Not to mention the boats whizzing by--hopefully.

Alright, even though the house reef isn't too much of a reef I'll most likely book 5 nights with them.
4x2 tank boat dives, unlimited beach diving, lunch and breakfast + the accommodation for 950$ seems kinda expensive tho.
I'd love your judgement in wheter it's expensive or not (mostly used to diving in Asia for a lot less)

Hotel Cozumel is right across the street from Scuba Club but with nicer accommodations and they run package specials all the time for good deals. You also don't have to dive with whom you are staying, Cozumel's huge appeal is stay anywhere, dive with anybody, they will pick you up at the dock every morning. Post in the Cozumel forum about looking for a cheap package deal and somebody will know something.

Thanks, I gave it a go.

I also got quite turned off by how touristy PDC is after reading about it, so I might be spending a lot less time there than planned, and was thinking about Belize instead for a week or 2. If anyone has info on Belize be sure to check out the thread I just made; http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/belize/519296-ambergris-caye-vs-placencia.html
cheers!

Where would you suggest i dive with the sea lions? Cabos or La Paz? Cabos would be more convinient as ill be there already, but if the dive in la paz is better i have no problem going there instead.
Cheers!

Pretty sure the sea lion spot was La Paz...
