Finally decided on the G7X Mark 11 to replace old faithful, my S95. Please share any tips, insight, and help on getting the camera set up for underwater photography. I will be using a Fantasea housing. Would the red filter be a good addition to the housing? Thanks! C. Brown

I have the G7X in a Nauticam housing. Use the shortcut button for custom white balance for open water shots, takes great photos in ambient light. I find these much better than using UW mode. The custom white balance also applies to video, not sure UW mode does. I'm a novice, I use program mode rather than anything more sophisticated. I would not use a red filter over using best white balance. Auto mode with auto white balance takes terrible photos.
