men's opinions are generally accepted and appreciated.
"generally" being the necessary qualifier. While I fully respect the need for a no-troll zone where women don't have to read the lame "hurr, hurr"-type comments some Neanderthals seem to have to come up with, more than one of us X-deficient/Y-enabled have been met with rather hostile reactions in there if we dare to post. Not generally, but often enough. And that's a pity, because I believe any single-gender environment breeds unhealthy attitudes no matter if it's women only or men only.

Give us a place to play now and again. :)

Sees fair to me.

Women have a place where they can discuss their own issues while knowing that they are stuck with a male audience who may or may not keep out of it. The gals who I encounter on SB, in general, can take care of themselves.

The Pub? Nah. I peek at SB too many times a day as it is. I just monitor the topics going by and get involved often enough.

"Men's Perspectives" would likely be a place where we could attempt to "out alpha" each other in all manner of ways, knowing that there is a female audience we are playing to. That would be funny to watch. I nominate you to moderate it.

also dicks would get drawn on stuff:D

Honestly Richard, I think that one person's response was a bit of trolling. I don't see the need for gender specific forums myself. It's diving, not procreating. Or at least one would hope...

I don't have a problem with a Women's Forum or thread. I have two daughters who dive, and know there are female specific questions. Maybe good for dudes be aware of these (for perspective), but generally keep mouth shut on the topic.

I think comments stating that "~90% of topics are already Men's topics" are wrong and arguably sexist. (and I am not the type who is hyper-sensitive about this). Also presuming that a "Men's Furum" would just turn into D1ck pics etc... Is BS. I am on plenty of furums that are even more male dominated and keep it clean. Sure there are some that get bad.. but I just avoid those.

I don't really feel the 'Need' for a Men's Only forum.. but certainly a men's issues forum would be fine. Do most women really want to hear details about how dudes plumb their p-valve? I am perfectly fine keeping the mystery in what kind of adhesive works best on your she-wee.
