Hi Diver0001, I deleted it myself, actually scrubbed the message and a mod technically deleted it for me. I thought I sounded like I was giving " Agony Aunt Advice" to someone whose name is phonetically Bully Wife, and perhaps I should just not do that.
But yes, I try to be balanced, and I am going to keep on posting!

Thanks. But that's not how it's pronounced, thankfully.:
How to say or pronounce Buliwyf - PronounceNames.com

Huh.. I thought it was bully wife as well. I guess I should have known, given how rare it is for someone to pronounce kelemvor correctly (or at all, really).

I see nothing wrong or inappropriate with a women's only area. There are many issues that women deal with that just don't apply to men.

I was going to tell you that I like you and that you should keep posting on the "men's thread" for the same reason that some men should feel at home in the 'woman's forum'

Not all women are "man hating feminists". It's pretty clear to me that you are not despite internet norms.

For that reason I was surprised that one of your posts was deleted.....

R..

Thank you Diver0001!
I am bummed when I see women telling guys, " You can't post in women's perspectives" right after the guy makes a valid point. That is not a counter-arguement!
I campaigned for trying out a Men's Forum, and since NetDoc knows me by now he knows that I will keep "pinging" this subject until one we get one. Guy stuff is as 'mbarrisen as girl stuff, so this will give voice to some surprises I think. And women may be bringing the questions their male buddies are too embarrassed to ask!

if a mens forum became a wife/ex bashing forum then Id be against it

On (some) mens forums you're not allowed to mention wifes without pics. That would go downhill quick here.

Personally, I don't have a problem with a Women's Issues forum without a Men's Issues forum. I totally respect and understand the need for a forum where the underrepresented gender can discuss issues that easily invite "hurr, hurr" replies from the Neanderthal fraction of our members (with apologies to real Neanderthals, my use of the term was a rhetorical and probably un-PC argument denigrating real Neanderthals). It may be just me, but I don't see that I get the same type of "hurr, hurr" responses if I talk about e.g. shrinkage as some female members get if they talk about... IDK, fitting boobs into a wetsuit or something. Or period issues. So, I totally respect the need for a women's issues forum where stupid, sexist replies can easily be moderated. What I do have an issue with is some members' (apparent) opinion that men aren't allowed to reply to a thread in Women's Issues. Because, as I've said before, I sincerely believe that any single-gender environment is inherently unhealthy. And topics like sexism affect us Y-enabled/X-deficient persons just as much as those who aren't X-deficient.

I think those are more like pub topics than topics specific to men or women.
