I think those are more like pub topics than topics specific to men or women.
So, what you're saying is that shrinkage isn't relevant to pee valve issues, but more relevant to a Pub thread? I guess you haven't frequented The Pub much?

if a mens forum became a wife/ex bashing forum then Id be against it

Please read up about men allowing themselves to become polished and obedient turds.

Seriously, brother, men need to be able to fully express themselves without anyone telling them that they are wrong.

So just testing possibility of reciprocal shutdowns:
Say I comment on the above that dry suit manufacturers should invent "The Accordian Pee-Valve that "Shrinks With You!" Do I get told that I am "Hurr Hurr Yer Funny" right before getting told to get off Men's Forum?
I can't imagine how ANY Pee-Valve got invented if people aren't thinking and discussion all the creative possibilities.

Look, I'm not sure if the post is still up, but @Francesea laid out several issues that would be appropriate for a men's forum. I'm going to pretend that none of those are really "male" issues. The reality is that they are, but hey, I don't want to be portrayed as a fat slob! So in light of this, let's just say no the "men's forum." :D

And as usual, @Storker has provided some great insights!

Is now the time to pitch for an "Over 60" Forum?
I mean, man, we got issues... both guys and gals.

Know that you mention it, I had an idea for a thread about aging and diving-limberness-maintainance-stretching, "When did Studio 54 Babe hit 54?"but a more general forum about aging and what to look out for could be a opt-in under Diving physiology.

...and you are going on to an internet forum to achieve that end. You need to get more rest friend, your cognitive functions are deteriorating.

Actually @Francesea it was your post dealing with frog kicking with a bad hip that provided the inspiration.

Yeah, I saw it to but didn't respond. It made me feel shy talking about her hips in public. It really should have been in the woman's forum...

j/k Truth be known I didn't respond because I had no idea what to suggest.

R..

You're a mod? Don't you guys normally have the "STAFF MEMBER" warning like @Storker does?
There is an option to remove that warning, as @Storker pointed out it's partly a poseur-quotient thing but in my case its for a more practical reason. I am quite open about being a mod and very proud of it but...

I am first and foremost a user on this board. When I speak, I would prefer that my posts be read for their own merit (or lack thereof) and not judged by other factors. There are members who look at the "Mod Alert" and that will color their perceptions one way or the other. The same applies to number of dives which is why I don't put that either.

My signature line contains my name so I am accountable for what I say. My qualifications and agencies are there so that users can gauge (to a certain extent) whether or not I am qualified to speak on a point.

Finally, if someone doesn't like my posts, they have the option of hitting "ignore" which would not be possible if I had the Mod tag in place. @NetDoc is the same.

Oh and in the interests of completeness, my user title is the worst thing I have been called on the Board. This will be updated as required :laughrant:
