Can DSS wings be ordered with no embroidery or at least black thread? I'm not a fan of lettering on the wing.

Tobin could make the wings black on black and market them as his "Tactical" line of dive gear!
Seriously, it would be kind of neat to be able to get custom colors and/or desings on the wings, but the cost might be prohibitive.

I don't care for it, either, but I have to admit it's kind of fun to be able to pick out a DSS wing from far away. "Hey, that guy's got a DSS wing, too!" The embroidery is unmistakable.

Can Nike gear be ordered without the swoosh? Not really. It's marketing. It makes sense for him to include it.

I don't mind a well-placed, conservative logo. I just don't want huge "LOOK AT MY SCUBA BRAND" lettering.

The actual logo is hardly noticeable once you're actually geared up and diving. I can barely pick it out in either this 26# DSS wing or 17# DSS wing.

How about just using a black paint marker pen to make it black?
