Adelaar has added a Deep South Komodo itinerary and a couple Alor dive cruises in 2018, however at this time, we have not added Raja Ampat to our schedule. There are discussions about the future though, we'll keep you posted.

Thank you for thinking of us @buiszie, we appreciate it!

Happy to hear your sciatica issues are getting better @billt4sf, keep getting well, hope to see posts this fall from Indo :thumb2:.

Thanks Adelaar, and assuming that we do, at some point we will want to go to Komodo.

Bill - If you are flexible regarding your schedule, get on the waiting list. Its surprising that cancelations are more common that one would expect. Its great to find out that you back is on the mend. Best to Emily.

Thanks Charlie, I was wondering about that. Some don't have waiting lists.

Was just on Mermaid II. Easy on and off the dive boats. Food was very good, but I did not like their dining area. In the front of the boat in an enclosed space with minimal windows. Solved by filling my plate and taking it outside to deck above, but it was a bit of a juggle to do that and somewhat antisocial. Otherwise a very good trip.

Yes he was very anti social;-) I was on the same trip on Mermaid 2 and my second trip with them after Komodo in 2015. Really like the crew and boat despite the small dining room. Make sure the boat and/or crew will handle your BC and let you board the dingy without gear. i have been on a dive trip and aggravated herniated disks before and it was not fun.

Dive Damai is exceptional when taking care of older customers. I know a few older people who dive multiple trips with them because of the care they give.

I have also seen the crew on Dewi Nusantara go out of their way to take care of older divers.

Have a look at this new boat as well: DIVE GAIA - A new breed of liveaboard I was just on it in Singapore for a tour, very very nice boat. Huge deck space and very easy and comfortable tender boats, your gear goes on the boat, you don't have to wear it on to the tender. New boat but experienced crew...

+1 for this... Fantastic crew on Dive Gaia... haven't been on the boat but the cruise directors are the best at taking care of customers!!

VERY nice, Mike! Thanks! One of the FEW boat pics that I have seen where they show the dive deck next to the water (which is my mind is where it should be).
