I know, i am just kidding. Cant wait until all my gear is switched over to the orange stuff!
Same here but have to say I like my two shearwater's

I would be interested in a high performance non directional or is it bi directional second stage similar to the Poseidon style. You have my permission to back burner the dive computer project.

By the way where is @sphyon has he received little Pete yet? Have you gotten so busy selling regulators that you forgot about airdroping goat

Naw.. Haven't forgotten lil Pete...He is gonna show with a drysuut

dude.. seriously, when I choose the D1 to offer in HOG, it was because it was what I could get... now I don't have to settle for what I can get and throw a logo on, I can actually do new designs. Yeah, I take inspiration from other products, who doesn't? What I really have no intention of doing is full on copies with only a logo change. OEM and ODM are different. Deep 6 is a ODM model versus OEM.

that wasn't a critique at all. Anyone who has been around for a while knew that the D1 was a stock OEM design from your supplier. You then took it the same basic design paradigm and made it much better with the D3, then again with the Aegaeon.
The suggestion was to take the already brilliant second stage design and make the case symmetrical with the cutouts for the barrel. Make an adapter "plug" to essentially block off the venturi lever notch on the hose side, and make the venturi baffle 2 part design so it flips over. Similar design concept to the XTX. How necessary is it? not sure, arguably less than 1% of the second stages you sell will be flipped over, but if it doesn't significantly increase the costs and prevents you from having to do a dedicated run if you decide to do something similar to the switchback run, then at least the option is there for anyone who wants to try it to be able to do it in 5 minutes with a single adjustable wrench.

that was all, there is 0 critique on my part on what you had to do and ultimately did with the regs. I'm a design engineer, I do stuff like that all the time and it's how we make progress. Find out what others have already successfully done, and adapt them to make them better.

Another here patiently waiting for a good option for a rec computer at a good price that doesn't suck. Kind of annoying that there seems to be some spec info leaks that a few have seen that I cannot find but hey.... I guess you have to "know somebody".

I remain a huge supporter of what Chris is doing here and wish him all the best.

Maybe the computer will be out in time to make Christmas presents for a couple divers I know.
