@cerich We're gonna need a bigger goat.

To hell with that, I mean a custom cut goat size drysuit. I think it is the least @cerich could do. THEN you would have another dive buddy and lil Pete would be a sidemount goat.

does anyone know the airflow (l/m) at 200 bar? i want to know if i replace my old trusty Mk10 with one if there would be an increase or decrease in performance?

Your mk10 is a darn good reg...You are unlikely to notice a difference, the IP control on my reg is better, so a unbalanced second mine would breath better until you get deep enough (like stupid deep.. over 100m). A balanced second..You won't notice

I would be mating it with a G250V. What is the IP set at from the factory?

And it would still be interesting to know that airflow # for reference.

IP is 135-145.
I am not gonna play the SP air flow game...Because the rates they state are based on a steady supply pressure and don't take the tank valve into account. Don't get me wrong, SP balanced piston regs flow very, very well in regards to ability to move gas, however real life numbers are quite different from the marketing.

Unless you are doing sub 150m dives the difference between what my regs or many balls dia HP regs are flowing and what a SP (or other HP Bal piston)balance piston is flowing is not relevant, gas density at those types of depth really start to show the extra size of the inside of the piston vs the diaphragm design. However, as I alluded to earlier, the diaphragm regs tend to control IP better, which for most divers is gonna be more noticable depending on second stage than the greater gas flow of a ball piston first.

It may also come into play if you are planning to put a few dozen divers on one first stage... That doesn't come up very often.
