Very sad. My condolences to his family and friends, the folks at RR, and you all here. I agree he seemed to be one of the nice guys that's just easy to get along with.
 
For those who have not read through the A and I thread, it was posted by an SB member that according to James' father his sons cause of death was cardiac arrest.
 
Sincere condolences to the family - hopefully they can have some solace in the fact that he passed doing something he loved.
 
Condolences and prayers to his family, may God comfort you in your time of need

Also, thoughts and prayers to anyone who may have assisted in his rescue attempt.
 
Very Tragic and sad. My condolences to his wife whom I assume was his dive partner since an earlier Thread reported Scuba Couple headed for The Keys.
 
Wow....hard to loose any diver, let alone one of our SB members. RIP

And who posted about this very trip. Very unusual. And so sad.
