I just don't log dives
I was looking around the VDH site and spotted this hose retainer Store - Vintage Double Hose

I'm thinking this could replace the left chest D-ring on my travel rig since I only use it for securing an inflator hose. What do you think?

Looks like Piranha is already doing that: Utility Keeper

Randy and I are neighbors and are working on combining our efforts in the future so many parts will be on both sites.

I ordered three the other day for that purpose but will also have a normal d-ring on there for stage bottles. 2 of them are for my sidemount rig which is a bit funny since I dive jetstreams. Very much looking forward to them

Do you think the D-ring will fit okay between the metal tabs for the bungee?

Oh, these are in addition to the usual D-ring & tri-glide?

I just use a loop of bungee and a regular tri-glide. Not to take away from VDH but I don't see the need, personally.

EDIT : Good Lord, especially at the cost.. Almost $7 when a regular ole tri-glide and a loop of bungee does the exact same thing.

While I love both VDH and Piranha, what I used after seeing a Halcyon rig is a 330 o-ring. It's a little cleaner than a bungee o ring and still cheap. I bought mine when I was buying a bunch of o rings from o rings usa but you can get them for $1.50 from Dive Seekers. The o ring doesn't stretch like the bungee though.

correct, mine is primarily fo rholding onto the showerheads of my Poseidons, so still need bungee. The normal bungee loops are fine, but they aren't as easily adjustable for me so figured I'd try them out.

for those that are using the 330 o-rings, $13 for 50 of them. Get a couple dive buddies in and split them up
