Yeah, that's real nice and all, but bringing visitors to your website doesn't help me. Plus, we'd have to follow your rules about content etc. Further, just about everybody on the planet is already on facebook. Noobs to this site would have to jump through all the hoops to register, and a lot of potential group members won't bother to do that.
