I bought from seavisionusa.com. They were prompt and it was easy.
I want them to make my lenses but they won't provide me a list of what brand name masks they can make lenses for. They say they don't keep a list. They can't make lenses for my nice, expensive Atomic mask so that means that I have to buy a new mask. It's kind of a pain to have to go in to the dive shop and try on every mask, make a list of what I like, and then email Seavision again to see if they accommodate any of them. Obviously, they are trying to push their own brand but I've tried one on and don't know if I like it or if it is comfortable for me. They basically only have 2 possible styles that I'd even consider (I'm no into purge valves).
I don't want to have glued in lenses added to my Atomic. I already have prescription lenses in there and don't have the stock lenses. I'm not going to wear contacts. I need a bifocal and I just don't want the hassle.
Any suggestions? Has anyone had luck getting Seavision to make lenses for their own masks? If so, what brand do you have.

Prescriptions masks, when well made, are awesome. I too dive with contacts and like to combine it with prescription readers. I had a mask worked on by an outfit in CA. They took their sweet time to get the thing done, other than that, it worked out great. I recently lost my mask after a rough entry, and need to have a new one made.

These guys did not meet the agreed deadline, but did a really good job with my mask. I'll be ordering a new one here shortly.
Cheers

+ 1 for prescription dive Masks. Had the same experience, with a mild delay in getting back from them. With that said, love my mask, had readers put in !!! Send them YOUR favorite mask, and they can fit the proper "glass".

I just used one of their masks. Not optimal but works for me.
I hate the idea of spending so much money on a mask that won't fit or that won't feel right. Or worse, that will break down after only a couple years.
If I only kept the lenses that came with my Atomic mask, I might be able to get Prescription Dive masks to insert them and then bond the prescription lenses on them.

I think I'm just going to send Seavision a long list of mask options and see if they can fit any of them. Otherwise, I'm going to have to buy a new mask and use Prescription Dive masks. Even though they are more expensive and glue the lenses. My problem is that with my distance prescription glasses on, I can read anything close. I don't need reading glasses, I just can't read with the distance prescription. So I can't just insert a new set of Atomic lenses, which would be my preferences.
Everything I read about those sticky magnifiers say that hey fall off if they get wet. Which of course they will get wet.

I used Scuba Optics Magni-View lens in my first mask. In fact, it's then mask in my avatar, which shows the magnifier on the right lens. I bought mine at my LDS, but they are available on-line. They are fairly inexpensive, but the glue that is included with the magnifier will not come loose when wet. In fact, I don't know if you could chisel it out. While I have moved on to a new mask with prescription lenses, I still have this one in my bag as a back-up. The lens is just big enough to focus on your gauges while not being in the way for normal viewing if placed in the lower portion of the mask.

If you're looking for a cheap alternative to prescription, this could be the answer for you.

Good info. I still need a prescription mask for distance but I can just get that from Atomic and replace the prescription that I have now. But a little cheater like this would be perfect so I can my pressure gauge and bottom timer on my wrist. If it truly holds. I'll have to try it out with my current prescription before I order new lenses from atomic. Thanks for the recommendation. I appreciate it.

Mickey, just be sure to follow the installation instructions carefully and it will stay put. Like I said, I don't think I could remive mine without doing damage to the mask lens itself.

Do you have a picture of the mask on your face? I need to get a new prescription and seavision doesn't do lenses for Atomic masks. I don't want a boxy, limited vision mask since I'm doing tech dives and wreck penetrations. I need to be able to have a wider field of view. I can't tell from their crappy pictures on their website what their masks, in particular the 2100, actually looks like on a face. The alternative is about $100 more expensive and I'd have to buy a new mask on top of that.
