You might try the Online Processing Center and go to the bottom of the page for Student Lookup, as though they're a referral. I don't know what result you'd get back, though.
But gosh, how can you know their number but not their name?

Are they an instructor level? PADI Pro Chek

I know their name... but not necessarily their middle name AND Date of Birth, which are also required to search someone.
If they give me a cert card for one thing but they have others it's easier to put in the cert number than to have to ask for their DoB.

Just tried my cert # in the Online Processing Center - no records found, lol!
Guess that won't work. Sorry!

I looked up a student using their cert ID number in the online processing last week under the student processing section (the option above typing in all their info and uploading a pic.)

I had their confirmation email from a previous cert including the # and didn't have their DOB handy when processing their next cert. Worked for me.

Cheers,
Cameron

I think the student search in the online processing is only for students that are registered for online (eLearning / Touch) classes.

I still haven't found a way to do a reverse look-up.

PADI Pro section so old and not effective in use( We hope in nearest future PADI will made new www portal.

Why should PADI bother to improve?
They own 80% of the market.
