Hello, I am relatively new to Scubaboard. I just won a 1000 dollar gift certificate for this cruise line, I was wondering if anyone who has been can tell me if its worth the money to go? I won this prize in a raffle at my LDS, I just graduated college and I was wondering if this was not only worth it but feasible for someone with a limited income. I would really appreciate any information, thanks.

Bilikiki gets good reviews. With that said, I don't know if going on a liveaboard is a good way to spend your money when on a budget. I guess you have to ask yourself what your current vacation budget is, and is it worth blowing that on a single week's vacation. When I was making big money and living in the Pacific, a pacific liveaboard was worthwhile. Now, maybe not so much.

That makes sense. I would like to go, but I think right now it might not be feasible. Maybe someone on here who is currently planning on going would like to buy it from me or trade or something like that.

As a former liveaboard operator, it is my opinion that discounts and prizes like the one you described go 99% unused. They are worth exactly what you paid for it, any savvy traveler can get at least that much in discounts by buying right.

Right, but if someone is actively planning a trip 1000 dollars off would be pretty nice. Thats roughly a 10% discount.
