Anyone have any info on a dive accident today on oil rig dive? Preliminary info is that one diver is dead and one is in a chamber.

Yes. Recreational divers are allowed on these 2 particular rigs. Advanced OW certification is required by all local operators. On this particular rig, 270ft is the hard bottom. Another one is significantly deeper.I’m not knowledgeable on diving on an oil rig. A working oil rig allows recreational divers on site? I assume the sea floor is at 270 feet?
