Ad-block is your friend. With a little effort you can selectively target which ads to block in case you want to see the SB supporters ads.

In the example above this one, blocking the domain verygoodads.com should provide some relief till the spammer registers another one.

There's also Adblock Plus but it by default allows some ads through. I think you can manually restrict them also but I've never needed to.They're free unless you want to support them.

I don't phone browse so don't know how effective it is on those devices. It works on my Android tablet though which should be the same as an Android phone.
I can't find Ad-block. Who is the developer?

Unlike other hijacking mal-ware, i seem to be able to back click out of ad by backclicking three times. Woo-hoo! I dont have the pain of finding my place again!

On Linux I rarely get pop-ups. But sometimes I'll run a Linux operating system from a thumbdrive. If I get mal-ware then I just format the thumbdrive and re-install Linux. You can use quite a few different flavors of Linux this way too.

But would you want to do this every time you check posts on Scubaboard?
I am hoping the Software Sleuths can figure out why this only happens when Signed In to Scubaboard.

so a new, different type of pop-up malware, only on Scubaboard and only when signed in:
Notice how it mentions Diverightinscuba? Could it have come from them, are they infected, or is it something else entirely?

This pop up problem is in the JavaScript. Still not sure if it’s the ad or the device but the m pretty sure this is the device. A quick temp fix is to disable JavaScript in Safari settings on iOS.

The other pop up is what I believe to be an exploit that was discovered earlier this year and still has to be patched.

This is an exploit in JavaScript discovered earlier this year, it’s my understanding there may not be much that can be done about it except to turn off JavaScript which will degrade your browsing experience. Time for new tech!
