Sometimes I can't copy & past text

A rare problem, but it's happened a few times. I copy the text fine, can paste it to an email or Text Document (.txt) document, but cannot paste it to a thread...??
 
On a more serious note, what OS and browser are you using?

This is indeed a windows problem (especially word)... their "Unicode" isn't very universal. What to do? If it's text, open up a text-only app like notepad and paste it there first. That will convert it to ascii, which is the ultimate Unicode, and you can easily copy it from there. Elegant? No, but it works. Windows 10 and the current version of Office seem to be far more stable in this regard.

Unfortunately, I can confirm it still happens in Win10 with Office 2016. It's something I deal with frequently in my work. Actually, I don't remember having the problem back when I was on win7 or Vista - but it's been a while now.
