Thank you Pete for letting the gals use your truck while you were teaching. I managed to get in two shore dives at Salt Pier - - has to be the best dive in the Caribbean. The entry was quite a challenge for us older gals! Stacy kindly carried in my camera to protect it from possible destruction by the rocks and coral that did a number on my backside!

It was great to connect with kindred spirits who share my passion for diving.

A few of the crew have been adding pics to the Shutterfly album and the Plaza resort was kind enough to add about 100 photos from the week to share as well.
Do you have a favorite pic of the week? Let's see them.

Here's one of mine, Cheers to a fun night!

Hello All,

I have too many memories to recount in a short format post.

The biggest take-away for me were the people. Surgers, Toucan dive staff, hotel staff, other hotel guests, our bartender. Quincy. Everywhere I ventured, everything I did, I was surrounded by fun, nice, people.

Scott offered his truck so that we could go to the supermarket for some special food. We went to several supermarkets and had conversations with nice people. We were not looking for a social gathering, but several people started conversations with us. It was fun and interesting. One lady was a school teacher and explained how it is difficult to teach four languages on the island. Others were tourists like us and liked the supermarket we were in.

My memories of Dive Team Six will be permanently imprinted on my brain. They are all very good divers, fun to be with, and all helpful. We dived 12 beautiful sites. Overall, the best diving I have done on a single trip. Spider, Hagen, Liz, Bryan, Chantal...

Special thanks to Dennis and Roxanne, you did a great job and I will remember that!
