On most forums, it's pretty obvious, but I can't seem to do it here.
Thanks.....

you cant. you can only leave them.

but if the other person replies to the conversation, it puts them all back.

Well.....allrighty then! :D

Click on the conversation/message you want to delete. You will get a drop down box and then select "leave conversation". It will then ask you some question (I forget what it is) but it will clear the conversation from your list.

Just remember that the receiver will still have the message. If you have sent something in error, there is no way to undo that I'm afraid. As moderators, we do NOT have any access to PM at all so we won't be able to help either.

Thanks guys. It's not a big deal or anything, there's no worries about any content or with anyone replying back again. I was just trying to clean up my in-box, before I started getting notices that I was approaching my limit (like most forums will do), and thought I'd zap some old messages.

True for anything you put online or in an email. Even if you think it is deleted there are other copies, and backups, etc. Good thing for all to keep in mind.

As far as I'm aware the board treats messages like private posts, hence the change from the old "PM" to "Conversations". AFAIK there is no limit to these.

@diversteve @The Chairman any comments?

They can "leave" a conversation any time they want. There are no limits.

I was curious so checked the Xenforo support forums - the Chairman is correct
.There was a discussion about limiting the # of Conversations but it was never implemented.
