We need help from a travel agency booking flights from Jakarta to Sorong and then from Ambon back to Jakarta in October. I have emailed liberty travel twice with no response. Indonesian airlines don't want to accept my USA credit card. Anyone have suggestions or advice on who to use? I have always booked my own travels so have no experience with agencies. I know the flights I want just need help booking them. Tanks Bill

I can see flights i want but link sends me to batik air and they will not take an american cc.

I see your problem. I use e-Comerce system via my Indonesian internet banking account (BCA) that you don’t have. I can book it for you at no extra charge (as a favor to Scubaboard member) if you like. Just PM me the detail.

1.0. Can I book my own Indonesian domestic flights or do I need to book through agents?
You can book and pay online direct with some Indonesian carriers; including Garuda Indonesia, Sriwijaya Air, Lion Air. Others carriers do not allow non-Indonesian credit card online payments; like Express Air and you will need the help of a local travel agent.

Whilst we do not book International or Domestic flights, we can recommend local agent in Indonesia; Come2Indoensia, who can assist you in all your flight/accommodation bookings. Contact Melissa or Norberto at info@come2indonesia.com

This is really easy. Book through nusatrip.com. They take US based credit cards and I had no issues using them with my last trip to Indonesia. You can also book direct with Garuda - they also take US based credit cards.

you can use traveloka.com ( for garuda flight as well )
I used several times and works fine .

Second for traveloka.com . Used them for a trip in Jan. and found it pretty easy to book with them.

Sometimes even with nusatrip I have to have my bank on the line to make sure the cc charges are approved. A pain but works.
