Greetings from a little floating island (staten island) in NY

My name is Alex i have been diving for about 6 years now and ha e been diving in Mexico , DR , NY and a few other places including being an aqarium diver for a bit over a year now. This forum has taught me alot a out diving and finaly decided to sign up.

Hahaha the bodies sound about right but you forgot to add that staten island was garbage dumping only for years before they started building on it.

Hey there is shore diving here however the 2 times ive tried went horrible. 1st time was about 1/2 inch of visability and didnt even know if on the surface or sinking like a rock and 2nd time i found a bunch of needles on the beach turned around and went home . And god yes i would love to hear how this dump was discovered.

I lived in BK a loooong time ago now in about 2 month my better half and i are moving to Houston TX. Cant wait to get wet there year round.

Nice. I'm over in Brighton Beach closer to Coney Island. Nice job leaving the only island in America, that not 1 but 2 states refuse to claim lol

HaHaHa. I thought the beach needles was a Joisy thing (then again, Staten I is basically NJ anyway.................)

Columbus' boat was nearing the New World with his crew of tough guys (Dey was from Brooklyn). He says to the crew "Hey youz guys, I tink we're gettin close to discoverin New Yawk.
