Best mobile apps (currently) to Log dives ?

Hello,

I would like to get some opinions. What are the best mobile apps (currently) to Log dives ?
I found a few posts here and in other forums, but a bit old.

I read about this ones:
DiveLog /DiveMate / MyDives /

But will love to get some points of view

I use Dive Log on an iPad. It seems pretty good to me. It downloads from my petrel and perdix well. In particular it has a model that allows you to define dive sites, gear and buddies as you add them to dives and reuse then on subsequent dives. Some, such as Shearwater’s own just record a bunch of free form text.

I have DiveMate but never use it. I think it had to do with talking to the shearwaters via Bluetooth.

Some people here swear by Subsurface. However you need a pc or Mac to hand for that, there is work going on for a mobile version but I have no idea how long it will take. There is an android thing but I am not sure what it actually does.

There is a version of Subsurface for iOS and Android as well (although a bit limited in features).

You don’t mention if you are running iOS or Android. For iOS I use MacDive. Works with Perdix, ScubaPro G2. Syncs with the OSX version of the app if you use a Mac.

MacDive is great, but doesn’t support two transmitters if you’re doing sidemount.

Use Dive Log by moremobilesoftware on MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone. Like the Bluetooth synchronization across all devices. Easy to download from Suunto Cobra computer to MacBook and then sync with other devices.

Interesting. I haven't gotten to that issue yet, but is good to know. I love MacDive.

I will check some of them and will come back with some feedback.

I´m using android right now, but will change my phone soon and probably I will go for iOS device.

I have read good reviews of MacDive.... and no, I'm not doing sidemount

Another vote for the MacDive. Use it with my Perdix AI. Easy to connect to my iPad, can recommend

Have you asked Nick to implement the 2nd transmitter? He usually responds to emails at times you’d never expect, and has sent me beta versions of MacDive in a few cases.
