It looks like this is a slow or almost dead thread but I am a dork enough to try and resurrect it. I want a spare air of my very own. Cause they are cool

Well then by all means you just go get yourself one if you have any spare cash laying around.
(Did you see what I just did there? SPARE cash???) :D

Ok I like the color yellow mask fins and snorkel all yellow or do I need mismatched colored gear I meet all other requirements

Therein lies the beauty of dork divers - you do not NEED anything, including mismatched colors. Did with what you want to dive with in the color that you want.

Occasionally, you may have to be persuaded to do otherwise. Last year I was forced into a new set of ScubaPro regulators. My old MK-17 with a vintage G-250, (which I bought used and was the first regulator that I ever bought - I've been diving for 34 years) was a bit too gnarly looking for one of the dive clubs. They said that it might make our students nervous and it didn't give a professional look to the instructing staff. Whatever. They GAVE me new regulators, so I can't complain. :)

They have tried to "upgrade" some of my other gear too but are still unsuccessful!

Woo hoo I'm a dork diver
I honestly don't care about depth or location as long as I get wet
Btw
This is my next purchase lol
Now I can go diving even in the bedrom

Most of my none life saving gear is garage sale fines. bright colors are easy to find when you are in the water.

You have to add one nice rule, that we provide for one nice Russian assosiation RTGA
We swim as we WISH!
Not as we can, but as we WISH!
It is very important addition.
Following to that rule reqiuire storng ability to control you body in the water.
So, If you like to be RTGA diver you should be at least well trainded diver.

Global idea - there is no dogma for you positioning in the water.

Now - what our acronym means :)
Russian Trim Gavno Assosiation.
Гавно - mean

Почему последная буква не О, как
«Объединение»?????

Because most close translation to Объединение is Union.
Assosiation - is sinonym of Union, and also it has same name in both languages Assosiation and Ассоциация.
And english acronym - because we are international, and have members from other countries.

Actually we translate Объединение as “association” and “union,” but also translate “union” as “союз”. We also use “общество” as association.

It seems to me it matters which way you are translating!! :)

However using a cognate for “association” does make sense.
