Thx for posting this. Do they ask where you heard about them when you make the purchase? You should really be getting credit with the company for driving sales! :)

Another thanks for posting, just ordered mine.

Cool. In for one... and thanks for the tip about using a gallon zip-lock to collect the air. I asked about how to use such a sensor in another thread but no responses so far.

Oh, I'd hate for anyone to think I had any sort of profit motivation. A couple of companies have done me some favors, but I do put my money where my mouth types.

That will work, except you may also be trapping CO tainted air at the dock, especially if your boat's engine is running. You might do a comparison: trapped air only test vs tank air trapped. Always crack the valve first, then trap. I shot a bag & tester overboard the other way once!

If you have an Analox portable O2 tester, use the dome off of that on your Sensorcom and bleed straight from the tank to machine.

Mine arrived yesterday! It's tiny and light, thank goodness, because I already have to lug a lot of other equipment!

Just ordered mine; thanks for the post. Will try using the dome I have with my El Cheapo Oxycheq kit-DIY O2 detector and post results.

I need to ask Sensorcon to offer domes for sell. They tried a more elaborate setup after someone here invited it, but it was too much. Domes are simple.

@DandyDon, since you advocate, and I agree, with using the Sensorcon everywhere and all the time while travelling; what is your experience on how long the battery/ies last? Mine arrived yesterday; the little 'manual' doesn't say anything about what the battery is and how to replace it. I see 4 phillips-head screws, so that's pretty obvious, but what is your experience about how long batteries last and the need to carry spares?
