I had that issue with a toy I ordered for my grandson. Months went by I disputed the charge (PayPal) they reached out to the seller heard nothing for weeks then suddenly I get an email the item is shipped and will be delivered that day and they closed the case and I was pissed because they closed it without me actually getting it but later that day it showed up in the mail.

Anyway when I checked out the company after the item didn't show for months it was all 1 star reviews all to the effect of the company is a scammer and no one was getting their stuff. But I got mine and I figured they were having delivery and customer service issues. They meant well but couldn't figure it out.

Probably the same deal with this company. Somebody or somebodies plural dropped the ball and continue to drop the ball and the messages are going to the wrong person or no person.

Or the company is tanking fast and you are just the tip of the iceberg.

nah they've been this way for years. ask anyone that's been tech diving in the last ten years or so around here and they'll give you a similar reivew to mine (more than likely)

they aren't going anywhere

I wonder why the reviews are either 5-star "they're absolutely wonderful" reviews or 1-star "they're liars and I didn't get my product". Why the great divergence? Are the owners picking customers to be bad to? I'm confused.

This is the same statistical fallacy that drives a lot of those "wireless AI" threads.

If something has a 30% failure rate, that's usually unacceptable outside of major league baseball. So if 1000 people order these wetsuits, and 30% of those orders go into a black hole and people never get their money back, you are still going to have 700 very happy customers leaving rave reviews.

Just like all of those people who swear that WAI works great because THEIR dive computer never loses the link.

Works on my machine!

Pete here seems to be a happy wetwear customer.
I've never had an issue and I love the fit... when I actually wear a wetsuit. I'm not saying your experience didn't happen, but I love the suits.

Had two bad experiences with them. Had a custom suit measured at BTS; They sent the wrong (trim) color suit then gave me a hard time when I complained. Never resolved. My buddy's 7mm suit tore at the zippers on the ankles and he never got any satisfaction from them either. He ended up dumping it. I give the "wetsuit pressure toy" a wide berth at all trade shows. They're persona non grata as far as I'm concerned. I'd avoid using at all.

thanks...i guess?
I'm a hard fit. I don't like the way off the rack suits fit. That's their shorty in my avatar.

They really are.
Nope. Materials and features are okay. Fit for us was terrible. Not even close to any human body shape let alone our custom measurements.

We had used a local custom fit wetsuit supplier for many years - 6 suits. Our local guy retired. Based on SB reviews we went wetwear for 2 suits. Oops.

After lots of hounding the suits finally arrived a few days before a trip. Fit was terrible. Off by many inches ( no I do not have 6 inch diameter ankles).

The remail remeasure refit experience was even more painful. They refused to believe how badly the suits fit even after multiple photos. We gave up and tossed the wetsuits.

Caveat Emptor. For custom fit go local ( like we did for 30 years) and make sure they tailor it to your body.

Nope. Not to get personal, but our suits would fit nobody, as oppossed to one size fits all...

My legs were a few inches short. And way too big from the knee down. I asked them to remove at least 2 inches below the knee. After the refit the legs had about 1 inch of extra. Constant source of cold water...

Clarification: My above post was moderated to remove some moderated content that I replied to, so please ignore my "not to get personal" bit. (Mods did their job - no issue with the mods!).

My reply was in response to a "generic" wetsuit sizing. Anyone ordering a custom wetsuit should already understand that generic sizing is off the table. I order a custom suit since a generic size does not fit me (well not just yet...)

i dont see what was removed but there is no off the shelf 'generic' hood made out of g231n.
if you want one you HAVE to get it from these guys

still no reply to my last email
