Watch out for those big cutters. I heard about one guy who used a table saw as a cutting tool and accidentally cut his tank in half while entangled

Laughing guy /sarcasm /s eye roll - need to make sure Pete gets it

I do believe in small cutters though I have two of the ones Pete linked. When you’re reaching behind your head to try to cut an entanglement, it’s nice to know a hose would never fit in there. Those ezcutters I’ve tested on harness thick ropes etc they work wonderfully

(laughing guy added so Pete understands :D)

I got my hands on one.
If it will fit hoses, will it fit fingers?
i think it might be able to cut hoses but it would still be very hard.

No it will definitely not cut fingers.

For the price point I would not mind giving that rooster cutter a try... not sure yet if on a yak or diving... just to see.
It however sure still has some market taking over to do. I had no luck finding it.
Has anyone seen it in a US internet store yet (Amazon or...) at a non inflated price, possibly with free shipping... at least with ordering over some amount? I could not even find it at a boating oriented store like West Marine. Not one of their 207 products popping up under "knife" is that one. Ditto with "cutter"...
