There has been an Atom 3.something on the local CL here (Washington, DC) every time I have looked there recently... And for $3XX, I think. They can be found...

Earlier, I said that $800 was out of my price range. $1k is further out of my range.

@stuartv - Thank you. This was the answer I was looking for. You have saved me from a potential bad purchase.

If it were just another re-badged geo/veo I wouldn't worry too much about warranty, but tx-1 was a niche device with seemingly little field use. Still, it's the only computer in existence with WAI and ZHL+GF for $360.
