Tank tumbler video

I made this tumbler out of necessity as the closest LDS is 180 miles away. It took quite some time to get my hp100s back from tumble/hydro. I made this while waiting~not kidding.
The 3 drive wheels from McMasters was the most expensive part of this DIY project with the two pulleys coming in second. All told it was under $200 so after I finish tumbling the fourth tank (going right now) I will be close to even. I still have 6 more up for hydro this year and so I may just end up ahead a few dollars.
If anyone here has built their own, please comment/post a pic, I'd love to know how yours works. One of my lp80s was especially crusty and I ran this for almost 6 hours straight so I'm confident it will work for many more.

What is used for the tumbling media? You said gravel?

I used non-coated aquarium gravel. This was recommended to me by an old salt who has done his own for quite some time. t took his word and it seems to work fine.

No idea if it's an OK media to use, but I dure like a workaround to expensive industrial / diveshop ways if it's a feasible one indeed. Any expert opinions?

I also use uncoated aquarium gravel which works fine for lightly rusted tanks. Not sure how it would work on badly rusted ones though. I do add a couple of cups of crushed glass blast media to the mix.

Cherrystone chicken grit. Get the finest grade you can. It's crushed quartzite, works great. Buy at the feed store. I think it comes in 40 pound bags for maybe $10.

Thanks for the suggestions. But cherry flavored chicken grit? Sounds unconventional to say the least. Will it work better than the aquarium gravel for thicker rust? And what do you guys recommend for the coated tanks?
