Messed up and ascended like a missile

hi guys and girls. I'm a new diver, yesterday an incident happened.
Did a 22m wreck dive, all went fine, rested on the shore for 1.5 hour then went to do a 2nd 16m max wreck dive. At about 10 minutes under, my mask filled with water, i climbed at the top of the wreck (about 12m) where there was plenty of space to try to clear it. It was full of water so I couldn't see clearly. After about 1 minute (or even less) I found myself on the surface, no safety stop no nothing! Turns out I must have had too much air in my BCD and while trying to clear the mask, I was ascending at an accelarating rate. I could see the dive master next to me, and she tried to pull me to stop my climb, but it all went too fast and she also surfaced next to me.
Both me and the dive master (she in her 50s) felt completely fine, no pain, no dizziness, nothing (except from huge guilt and embarrassment on my end).

Should I be worried about any health effects? it's been 18h since then.

If it's been 18 hrs without issues, I wouldn't worry much. Neither dive was all that deep; and a CESA can be done from 18m. You may have exceeded "normal" ascent rate; but, again, the depth and elapsed time are in your favor.
(That isn't to say one can't have issues at that depth)

I had an uncontrolled surfacing last week, from a similar depth. So embarrassed. It seems I handled BC air poorly. My biggest fear was getting hit by a boat. As long as you don't hold your breath or get hit, it's usually fine to just descend.

What happened with your mask? Sometimes I like to take mine off below and practice without one, then put it on and clear.

You didn't say how long you were on the bottom on your first dive but I'm guessing 30 minutes? If you did an hour and a half rest, and then went back to only 16 meters (12 meters if you count the few seconds you were on top of the wreck), then I'd say you're fine.

I wouldn't suggest doing that all the time, but you weren't deep enough to do a mandatory stop. Besides if there were some real issues, then I'm sure your DM would have told you about any potential problems.

Lets see what the pros have to say though.

I hope you tipped the DM well. Since the DM slowed your ascent and you were breathing normally off your reg I doubt if you will have any issues. I'm not a doctor or play one on TV so if you have any symptoms see a real doc.

Doing two things at once takes practice, so practice maintaining your depth while doing other activities. Just remember that maintaining your depth is more important than an inconvenience of a flooded mask, for an example.

the first dive was only 25 minutes or so under as we had to fight a really strong current to get to the wreck (and when I surfaced I still had 30 psi air, the dive master shared her's with me and she still had 70 or so left).

Please tell me this is a typo...

Your kidding, right - or mistaken about psi. Having to breathe off of your DM's is a caution flag.

no idea what happened. it had a little bit of water at first, and then after 10 minutes more and more, I tried to clear it but somehow I couldnt, DM said its because i was ascending without realizing and water kept coming back in prob.

My biggest fear underwater is losing my mask and having to put it back again, first time i did it in training i panicked and wanted to surface but the DM was very calm and managed to calm me down and I could do it, but still, when it gets too full, to the point it covers my eyes and nose, it's really tough for me to do. I can clear it fine with a little bit of water.
I can even manage breathing normally with a completely full mask, but, can't see anything clearly of course. This is why I didn't realize I was ascending. and it all happened so fast, when I surfaced I couldnt believe I was at the surface!
