These examples of using echolocation are exciting developments in giving power of sight to blind people someday.
I see potential application in Cave silt out. If needed, it would be used by switching on echolocation that can feed information to a pop up screen on mask showing at least the basic shape of the underwater cave or ship in which a Diver is exploring.
Thoughts on what could make this product available to Cave explorers or rescue crews?

Nobody answered the actual question, so I'm going to revisit this.

What could make it available in these contexts is waterproofing the electrical/electronic components, just as is the case with cameras, lights, etc. Once that is solved, the rest is a matter of software development.
